No Rest for the Wicked

ree

That is the quote spirit gave me today.

If you are on a healing journey it can seem like every day there is another spiritual attack. Every time I leave my house I am being tested and tempted. Especially when I am breaking bad habits or reprograming my mind after healing past wounds (and yes, it is possible).

I used to think that saying meant that the people that were 'bad' and 'sinful' aka, wicked, were always up to no good. If you did bad things, you were always doing bad things.

But where I am now in my life, I can see it and understand it differently.

It should be: There is no rest for the Darkness.

If love (hope, trust, kindness, honesty) is the divine light, then shame (guilt, regret, fear) created by sin (immoral acts) is the Darkness - The lack of love.

The darkness, the true evil does not rest. It will always be there watching, waiting, and ready to tempt up.

Often, not all times, what people refer to as mental illness (bipolar, p.t.s.d, anxiety, panic attacks) is an unseen battle. A war between good and evil. Knowing what is right and wanting what is wrong. Having to choose what I will celebrate or regret later.

If you resonate with what I said, please reach out. I would love to talk more about this with people.
